Information Services

Triangle J Information Services Department provides a technical support structure for all staff and all programs at Triangle J Council of Governments. Responsible for the day-to-day technical operation of our computer servers, network, email, FTP site, and individual computers/laptops, we also provide software installation/support and training for our staff as needed. In addition, we cooperate and coordinate with the State's Information Technology Services to provide web site hosting and maintenance for all of our programs/projects and some for our member organizations at a very low cost.

Triangle J Information Services is further divided into 3 important areas:

• Geographic Information System (GIS)
• Design Services
• Regional Data Center (providing GIS, Census, and Socio-Economic Data for our member governments)
