Since 1992, Waste Reduction Partners (WRP) has provided North Carolina clients with waste reduction assessments, energy efficiency surveys, and assistance to enhance environmental sustainability programs. The program provides confidential, no-cost, on-site assessments to industries, business, local governments, and institutions.
WRP can help identify innovative strategies to:

- Reduce liabilities

Since 2000, WRP engineers and scientist have helped over 1,000 clients save $36 million in utility costs while greatly enhancing environmental and energy management programs.
Specialty services are available to any organization with a commitment to reducing waste and pursuing environmental excellence.The members of the WRP team are distinguished retired and volunteer engineers, architects, and scientists dedicated to serving the North Carolina community. They have had careers in a variety of industries, including aerospace, architecture, chemical, electric utilities, and machining among others. They have served in key positions in business operations, health and environmental management, plant and facilities, project management, research and many more. The Central/Eastern branch of Waste Reduction Partners is administered by the Triangle J Council of Governments and works in special partnership with the North Carolina Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance with funding from the State Energy Office.
